RESIDENCE

It’s more than a community, it’s a family!

Students who live in CLC’s Residence during the school months discover a "family away from home". During non-academic hours, boarders get to know themselves and others through dormitory living and extracurricular activities that develop a sense of community.

Carefully supervised, but with regard for their privacy, students enjoy considerable flexibility in managing their time within the necessary bounds of cooperative communal living and requirements for study.

A vigilant eye is kept on the younger students so that they receive the attention and nurturing they need. Providing each student with the right social experience and creating atmospheres for positive self-imaging is an essential part of CLC’s integrated living and learning philosophy.

Boarding students are in school all week, but may go home or visit friends on most weekends. In addition to the faculty living in residence, a nurse is on duty around the clock.

In the classroom, on the playing field, in the dormitory—it’s more than a community, it’s a family.
